Going West...to Seattle!

We ventured further west this past June to Seattle. It seemed to be a long 8 hour trip for us, but the girls really did well with this trip. The terrain from eastern Washington to western Washington was vastly different. Dry vs. moist.

Once we got to Seattle there was lots to see in the city itself. We saw the Space Needle and got a great view from up there. Surrounding the space needle were several museums for the girls to explore. The true highlight for them was the huge "water fountain." This water display was synchronized to music and was unpredictable as to what direction the water would flow. The girls loved it!

Haysannah and Shalyce even got to feed to birds while they were there. While Shalyce was feeding the birds she decided she was hungry too and started to eat the bread herself. That was a funny moment!
