What a feat it was to load up everyone and head downtown for a few hours. We left right after the boys ate and easily found a parking spot. Then the real test began...how to put the boys in the double stroller and keep them warm. We found out in attaching the car seats to the stroller that the car seat fit nicely for one and not the other. We got it to fit and placed the flannel blanket over the entire double stroller (that took approx. 30 minutes to figure out). Finally we left the parking garage and began "strolling around" in the chilly wind. Did we mention we really didn't know where we were going downtown? We just wanted to see lights and see what was around. We finally found the main tree and the lights weren't even on...nothing was going on.
We got Haysannah's picture taken with Santa and just as we were about to leave the boys both had to feed at the same time. I found a feeding space in the bathroom and fed them. The girls wanted to be by my side so they were dancing around and looking in the 3 way mirror as others came and went. Sounds a little chaotic, right? It is (maybe some of you can relate).
Since everyone was cold, really cold, and growing weary we went to Olde Spaghetti Factory and had a delicious meal and warmed up. Just as I was relaxing to eat my food, Jude had a blowout diaper. I can't tell you how thankful I was to make it home. Ahhh.

You are troopers. I can't even imagine what it must be like to go anywhere with two newborns! I love your blog!
It is a challenage to get everyone ready at one time and then have everything run smooth...it never happens for me. I don't know about twins but I do remember having 3 under 3. That was enough of a challenage. Everyone is so cute and growing so fast. Take care. Carrie.
