Write something...

It's been a while since I wrote on the blog. I should give some update. I am still waiting for some time to upload my pictures so be on the look out. We are doing well.

The boys are growing so fast!!! At their 4.5 month appointment Asher was 16 lbs. something and Jude was 17 lbs. Yikes!! I can't keep clothes on these boys. In fact, I have all these short sleeve shirts for right now because I didn't think they would grow this fast. I am cleverly putting long sleeve onesies underneath them so I use what I have. We are still waiting for the boys to roll over (and we feel really bad that they haven't since both of our girls were by this time). We are literally doing the basics and still falling behind. One things for sure...they both want to sit up and see the world. They will be 5 months on Thursday the 26th. Wow!

The boys had earaches and bronchiolitis last month too. They were having a hard time breathing at night and were waking up like newborns again. Thank goodness they are better now.

Haysannah and Shalyce are such good playmates (with ocassional exceptions). It is such a blessing that they are playing together so well while I am taking care of the boys. They each need individual time with mom and dad though. Haysannah is doing really well with her sight words in school and is on her way to reading. Shalyce will grab Haysannah's word cards and begin to say her words too. The girls have taken an interest in running outside to enjoy the sunshine. They grab a blanket and hide underneath it to keep warm. Shalyce is making a few more attempts to potty train (I know she's a late bloomer on this one but I think she will train quickly when she decides that's what she wants).

Austin and I had a great Valentine's Day! We went to a dance at church and enjoyed dancing together. We realize that we are getting older because we kept forgetting some of our dance moves we use to use. We just laugh and enjoy the moment! We had two babysitters at home with all the kids and they were kept busy the entire time! It was nice to get out for a chance.

I can't believe the boys are that big! Kelcie just barely hit 20 lbs. She's tiny though. Don't worry about Shalyce. Jonas was a late potty trainer too. It's the stubborn ones I guess! They know what they want and will only do what they want! What a beautiful family you have!

It is hard to leave the kids when you get out but it sure does help to refreash your spirit and keep you going for the next round. It was so good to see you all when you came to see Grandma. It dawned on us that it could be the last time but we hope not. You are always welcome even if Grandma isn't available anymore. We hope that she is fro a long time but we also know reality and that very well may not happen. Keep posting so we can check in on how you all are doing. Lots of love,
Carrie
