Our Thanksgiving Feast

This year we had a quiet Thanksgiving.  It was actually nice not to have to travel and do things on OUR schedule.  The girls decided that they wanted to dress up for Thanksgiving as Indians.  I quickly thought of an Indian vest that Haysannah made in preschool and that sparked my creativity to create these.  We cut grocery bags and decorated them.

The girls just had their birthdays in October and each wanted a doll of their choosing.  Of course,  they had to make a matching set for their dolls.  Too cute!

The girls made turkeys out of an apple, grapes, marshmellows, toothpicks, and raisins.  They had lots of fun make them and wanted to eat them when they were done.

Austin was our carver and did a fabulous job getting every possible piece of meat off the turkey.  We should have gotten a bigger turkey for more leftovers (hardly any at all).
