Happy Birthday Shalyce and Haysannah!

October is a big birthday month for us.  Shalyce turned four and Haysannah turned seven (where is the time going???).  Since we knew that our month would be busy we made the suggestion to the girls to have a combined birthday party with an...inflatable slide!!!

It was put up in a matter of minutes and could be seen by everyone going by our house (Oops!  That was unintentional, but it was that large).  The company assembled it and disassembled it which was great for us!The kids could slide as much as they wanted and we had inside activities for those that wanted to take a break or have something to munch on.

Everyone made a carmel apple to decorate and eat.

We love those ice cream cakes from DQ!

After the party was over...there had to be one last run!

Happy Birthday Haysannah!

What excitement we have in our home with all these birthdays. It's a month of celebration...literally! Haysannah's birthday was October 25th. She's 6 years old. Since it was so close to Halloween, she decided it would be fun to have a Halloween party. What a great idea! She had some friends over and we had lots of fun!

We played pin the nose on the pumpkin, decorated our Halloween treat bags, pass the ghost (like hot potato), went on a candy hunt in the backyard, guessed how many candy corn were in the jar, and decorated a kid to look like a mummy with toilet paper. It was a hit!!! I think that was the best birthday ever (and the best part was the part where the twins stayed asleep the entire time upstairs in our room.) Yeah!

Happy Birthday Shalyce!

Shalyce's is the beginning of our little families' birthdays. (All of my children will have their birthdays within a month's span). Her birthday is Octboer 4th. She was so excited to turn three this year. She had such anticipation for her birthday. I wanted to keep things simple this year (due to the twins coming) so we had a small gathering of friends and family. She chose to decorate with the princess theme (big surprise in our household).
