We were so excited to travel back to Pennsylvania to visit old friends. As we were talking about our plans Haysannah said, "It's like we are going back in time, Mom." I asked her what she meant by this and she explained that we were going back to where we used to live so it's like going back in time." Too cute!
We were so appreciative of our friends, the Barron's, that allowed us to stay in their home for a few days while Austin attended his conference in Pittsburgh. This was our first real trip away from home for the boys. They did pretty well.
Haysannah and her friend Sarah have been great friends ever since they met at age 2. They were in gymnastics and preschool together for two years and enjoyed many playdates together. Coming back to visit, the two of them (and now Shalyce) just picked up where they left off and played for hours and hours. My girls got to climb trees for the first time and were "shown the ropes" by Sarah. They put on gloves to make sure they didn't hurt their hands. All three of the girls got along so well and had a wonderful time together. Thank you Barron family for your hospitality, conversations, and time well spent together.
